The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting another play street event this December! Building on the success of our inaugural Sundays on Sherman July event, we are now offering the Novato community a winter edition of Sundays on Sherman. This is a free event and anyone is welcome, and encouraged, to attend!
Sundays on Sherman provides the opportunity for community members of all ages to come gather together in the heart of Downtown Novato and enjoy structured and unstructured activities without having to worry about traffic restrictions. Please join us as we take over one of Novato's main streets and fill it with festive holiday fun and PLAY!
Here are some of the fun holiday-themed activities that participants can enjoy:
- Holiday Ornament Making Stations!
- Take a Photo with Santa!
- Chef Hollie and the Joyful 12 program will be providing an interactive, healthy snack station!
- Novato Gymnastics Program tumbling area!
- Holiday Music!
- Life-sized Board Games!
- Holiday Hula Hooping!
- Hot Cocoa!
- Holiday Cookies!
